From First Contact by email to Drop-Off at Port Elizabeth Airport at the end of the trip, Renhard couldn't have performed better. Great insights about the itinerary on Garden Route made the trip planning remarkably smooth. Very flexible in terms of departure/arrival times even with special requests such as to hike Lion's Head for sunrise at 5AM. Every day was perfectly prepared and well balanced so that there was always time for a break to have coffee/snack/drinks and still arriving at the destinations on time.
Renhard is very easy to talk to and puts a lot of efforts to make your experience in South Africa unforgettable. He even organized a private BBQ (Braai), which was one of the highlights to try local South African meals.
The trip with Renhard and RR Tours is highly recommended! I hope to cone back to South Africa very soon. Will definitely book here again.

My wife and I came to South Africa for the first time from Singapore for our honeymoon and wanted to do the Garden Route and luckily for us, we found the best person to help bring us everywhere and be a fantastic, full of energy, full of knowledge friend for us during this journey. This was Renhard. We felt absolutely safe with him, he knows his stuff when it comes to any place on that route and in South Africa in general, he is very considerate.
I would highly recommend Renhard and his company for anything you're looking to do in South Africa or other tours they do.

Renhard devised an interesting & varied itinerary for us, travelling part of The Garden Route & wine tasting to meet our somewhat tight schedule, in order that we could also fit in the cricket at Newlands.
The communication & payment arrangements prior to our arrival were excellent, and resulted in an very high confidence level before our departure to South Africa.
An excellent & knowledgeable guide, and genuine nice guy, it was a privilege to travel with him, and we would have no hesitation in recommending him to others.
Hopefully we will have another opportunity to visit South Africa shortly, explore the area in more depth, and have a chance to renew the friendship we built with him during our short time together.

We booked our Honeymoon to Maldives with R&R tours and it was a smooth sailing experience from the start and Renhard went out of his way for us. The trip exceeded all our expectations and I would recommend this trip to everyone. We were very impressed with the service and standards of Fihalhohi Island resort. The crystal clear waters, amazing coral reef, friendly staff and out of this world buffets is something we will never forget. We can’t wait to go back in a few years and we will definitely make use of R&R tours again in the future. Thank you R&R tours for making our honeymoon dreams a reality!

Fantastic golf tour organised by Rennie. He went out of his way to accommodate us. We had to change our dates due to Covid and he managed to change all the bookings without any problems. Always on time, super friendly and helpful. Would definitely recommend!!!

R&R tours was absolutely perfect for our needs! Being affordable, fun and extremely knowledgeable, Renny was the best tour guide ever.
He displayed his knowledge of the area on every trip that we did and never rushed us with any activity that we wanted to do.
Renny is prompt and always on time! The other aspect which we absolutely loved was that Renny done some of the activities with us which made it more interesting as he presented fun facts on these activities.
He also helped with taking the most gorgeous pictures of us at no extra cost 😊.
I would rate R&R Tours 7 stars without a doubt!
Thank you for the lovely time and I can not wait to be back on the Garden Route to see more beautiful places with R&R Tours.

Upon receiving a wedding invitation from a friend residing in Cape Town, I was excited yet apprehensive . There were a few horror stories and I was cautious. Personal safety must come first .
Renhard was referred to me by a close friend . Prior, I was also considering another agent. Renhard was chosen as he had taken the effort to customize my itinerary. I stayed in South Africa for two weeks moving from Cape Town to Tulgagh to the Garden Route . He was my personal guide and my driver.
I respect his dignity and integrity. He displayed passion in his job, he listened and was familiar with the local travel industry well.
My 14-day trip was an enjoyable walk in the park. There was only one minor glitch when one hotel had wrongly accused me of ruining their wood vanity shelf. He handled them professionally and I give him a thumbs up for that.
10/10. Keep up the good work!

Renhart made mine and wanderi trip - Wah taj. Our best guide and Friend in our 20 years of travelling to over 62 countries. You should leave the tour on him and u won’t regret it. Must force him to bring his camera as he is excellent photographer. Thanks to him we saw hermanus, monkey land , eden garden. The highlight of our tour was
Helicopter tour , eden garden of birds and he saying jaldi jaldi. He was not just guide but has become a Friend . Now a family member of ours. I hope we do many tours together.

R&R Tours
I may not have written this review except for two things: the other reviews are so (too) stellar, and Renhart took to calling my wife “unprofessional” when she cancelled a second tour after a very unsatisfactory first tour.
First, I must say that Renhart was very pleasant in person and that the vehicle provided was clean and comfortable. He initially handed us two cold bottles of water which was a nice touch. Then he informed us that the seal island tour was cancelled because of winds, which is perfectly understandable. I would much rather avoid unsafe and uncomfortable situations like a small boat with a high wind.
So our day began with a lion walk that was really fantastic. The way there was the first sign that something was wrong as we made small talk and got very little if any history or local insight from our “tour guide”. After the lion walk we were driven to the downtown maritime museum which, except for the replica ship on display, appears to be free. That was ok, with no reflection on Renhart as he isn’t in charge of the museum, but it was to be followed by lunch and that was to be followed by a cave tour. The next drive also had no local information or insight.
When we arrived at the entrance to the country club where we were to have lunch Renhart had a rather heated discussion in Afrikaans with the guard at the gate as there was a tournament going on and he wasn’t supposed to allow anyone in. Sigh. Eventually Renhart complained to a supervisor that because we were doing the cave tour from their facility we had to be let in and it was allowed, but the restaurant was closed and no food was to be served. He did offer to drive elsewhere to eat, but we declined.
So we spent 90 minutes in the lounge with only a beverage and some bar snacks waiting for the cave tour, which was interesting in its own way, though not what I would have chosen for myself. When that tour was finished the only thing left was to find an ATM to pay the fees, but the discussion of those fees is what aggravated me most.
You see, the initial quote was for 3000 Rand and Renhart subtracted R240 for the boat we didn’t take to total R2760. This despite finishing at 3:30 instead of 5 pm and wasting 90 minutes in the middle of the day because of lack of planning. We paid R2800 and called it a day but decided after we had a chance to discuss that this was low-quality and not what we wanted to repeat in two day’s time, so my wife sent an email to cancel the second day.
Reinhart’s reply was that she was “unprofessional” for canceling a day in advance and that he had already made reservations for the free brewery tour at our stop in Knysna. No, Renhart, unprofessional is not confirming the itinerary for your clients the day in advance. Unprofessional is not having backup plans to an activity that could be cancelled for weather. Unprofessional is not attempting to reschedule those canceled plans during the day (checking later on our own the seal boat was going out). Unprofessional is not ensuring that your clients had lunch by confirming availability in advance. Unprofessional is cutting the day in half via finishing early and dead-time but charging full price. Unprofessional is discounting your fee by the cancelled tour amount less 20% because that was your commission! Unprofessional is not giving your clients MORE than they paid for instead of LESS. Unprofessional is calling your clients unprofessional because they didn’t want to be taken advantage of twice.
We had a rental car and would have been better off driving ourselves this day, like we did in our following stop. If you don’t have a vehicle the services of R&R Tours may make sense for you, but if you do I would strongly reconsider.

Dear Mr & Mrs Leibensperger
We would like to apologize for your bad experience with R&R Tours.
Unfortunately there is sometimes things that we as a company can not control and with that we would like to clear out a few points:
-There is only 1 boat charter at this moment that does trips to seal Island, Romonza. I personally called them at 08:00 the morning to find out if there is any chance they will be doing trips for the day, but the lady informed me that the Easterly wind had made sea conditions bad and there will be no trips for the day. (Wind was already 13knots at 08:00)
The only boat that did any activity close to Seal Island was White-Shark Africa that did shark cage diving.
So it is false to say there was other boat companies doing trips to seal island on the day, because there was no company, period.
There is also a reason I only gave them brief information about the history of Mossel Bay because they got all the information they need from the Dias Museum and a archaeological guide at the Point of Human origin cave tour.
And the ATM issue was not supposed to happen because we clearly stated in our pre-tour e-mail that was send 2 days before the tour departed that we only accept cash on departure of the tour.
And there are no lies or cheating in the cost they have paid for the day tour, personally I feel it was just made worst because they needed to sort out the payment at a ATM after the tour, where it should have been sorted out if they only followed our instructions that was stated on the e-mail. (Cash on arrival)
And the Brewery tour in Knysna is not for free.
We are really sorry that the points above was of your concern, but it is important that we clear out the truth on our side so that potential customers can read and understand this discussion.
