Wine, food, and sunshine as far as the eye can see. Constantia and the Constantia Valley Wine Route has beautiful vineyards and great eateries only 20 minutes from town.

A great place to visit when it is windy at the coast. Do wine tasting or go for a walk in the green belt or eat at a wide range of restaurants

Do take a drive through. If you don't have a lot of time in Cape town the Constantia Valley is worth the drive through. BUT I highly recommend leaving time to stop at a vineyard or two.

Constantia offers the best and closest wine route to Cape Town. The wine farms are quaint with nice white wines. It's a lovely area to visit for a day.
