We visited the museum and did wine tasting at Groot Constantia. The wine tasting was fabulous and included a free glass in the price. Knowlegable, friendly staff and interesting history of of the farm going back to 17th century.

We went for a wine tasting and a tour and enjoyed ourselves. The lady serving and guiding the tour was very knowledgeable and told us a lot about the different wines and their history.

We just walked right in and bought tickets. Have fun! If you can, get the wine tasting with the chocolate and the glass you get to keep. Its a fun way to remember your trip if you drink wine at home.

The whole estate and grounds is open and free to enter. You only pay to access the main house or for a wine tasting. The location is beautiful just aim for a weekday outside school holidays.
