Incredible setting and great wines but the service and food is very patchy. On a quiet evening the wait staff were struggling to get the most basic things right and there was no sense of hospitality. If you are ready for rough service the wine and setting are still probably worth it.

Sadly our lunch was tasteless - we had the burger which was dry and over cooked and the Goulash which was again tough. The waitress asked us how the lunch was and we told her and she just ignored our comment. I sent half the goulash and all the side back. This used to be our favorite restaurant lately the prices have increased and the food is below average.

We love this restaurant for lunch and wine tasting. The pizzas (they call them flatbreads) are amazing. After lunch lounge on the beanbags and enjoy the wines.

A great place for a lunch and a botle of good wine. Very mixed selection of platters and the flammkuchen which I had with the lamb option - a huge portion but I manged to give it the justice it deserved. Drive up through the vineyards and sit in the peace and quiet of the valley. Estate wines are excellent. Overall a great value meal - a must visit if you are in the area.

We visited twice: once for wine tasting and once more for lunch on the terrace. The wines here are excellent, some of the best in Constantia and the food is also good. The view from the terrace is spectacular, you'll need to book to get a table there in peak season. Service is relaxed and friendly.
