It was such a nice hike with the most amazing views. Unfortunately, when we returned to our car parked close to the starting point for Devil's peak, on Table mountain Road, it was broken into and our handbags were stolen out of the boot. No...More

Coming from a relatively unfit person, I would say this hike is fairly difficult however it has incredibly spectacular views! It took about 1 hour 45 mins to climb to the top, and I stopped multiple times to rest and take in the views. It...More

Have done this hike multiple times, including for sunrise! Easy to find the start just along Tafelberg road about 2km along from the cable car. Takes about 1.5 hours to get up going at an average pace, and then 1 hour down. Very windy at...More

A hike to the summit of Devil's Peak was awesome. Few people do this hike since most prefer Table Mountain. The views from the top are amazing! Absolutely recommend everyone to do this trek.

This is an excellent half-day hike, but I advise starting as soon as it gets light to avoid getting roasted in the sun. There are many routes up. Starting near the Rhodes Memorial (on the edge of the UCT campus) is a more direct route...More

Overall it is a moderate hiking and It starts almost in the end of the Tafelberg Road (there is a sign in the beginning). The top can be very windy, so keep a jacket in your backpack.
