Stopped by for light lunch. Excellent stop.
Stopped for coffee, a soup and a curry. Excellent service in the cafe. Food was high quality. Great and value. The bread selection was amazing but I suggest you ask for a doggy bag as it's very good but lots of it. Ideal stop for couples and families. Maybe we will try to get back here for lunch or dinner.

    Good but take note
Absolutely beautiful location and the hotel has a great charm and feel to it. The staff were very accommodating and service was generally good. If you are travelling with a large family (we were a family of 6) I suggest you pre book all your meals at the hotel in advance before arriving at the hotel. On arrival, when I tried to make a reservation for dinner, I was informed the restaurant was full. They suggested a restaurant in Camps Bay, which they reserved for us and had the hotel transport us there and back. That same day, I had asked them to then please reserve a table for us for dinner for the following two nights at the hotel, which they said they would do, only to find out that no bookings had been made so we never got to eat in the main dining section of the hotel which was disappointing. We were relocated one night to the observatory and were given an all day snack menu to choose from and then on the 3rd night we were placed in the 24 hour cafe at the back of the hotel which was average. I also phoned ahead for breakfast as on the first morning they couldn’t accommodate 6 of us together for breakfast, again, we were placed in the 24 hour cafe.

Just went for a lovely massage but the rest of spa is closed to spa visitors - no shower, pool, jacuzzi, drinks, etc. as we used in the past visits. For the cost (R1100 for 60 mins) I expected the full spa package. Guess it’s only for hotel guests now bc of covid. Should let guests know and adjust prices accordingly. 🤨

Table Mountain National Park includes these 12 Apostles (according to our tour guide.) So we picked up a few things along the way. Camps Bay is below. Best for a HOT day or clear. We caught it a little too early or late in the year, being cold in Cape Town

From the moment we arrived the staff at The Twelve Apostles treated us like royalty. The attention to detail and assistance in anything we needed ( local travel, room service and just relaxing) was awesome.

We booked our stay in January 2019 and had to wait because of the pandemic but all the staff at the 12 Apostles made sure our holiday lived up to all our expectations. We were upgraded to a mountain view room which had fantastic views from our balcony.
Aphiwe on the concierge desk organised all the trips we had planned and made arrangements for drives and tours. As non-drivers we found the shuttle service to Camps Bay and the city invaluable.
My wife loved having a spa treatment and we enjoyed the Leopard Bar for aperitifs or a nightcap. We ate in the Azure restaurant on our first and last night and the food, wine and ambience was second to none.
I have the feeling that it won't be another three years before we make a return visit.
Thank you,
Colin and Catherine Walsh.

I feel reluctant to write a positive review about this hotel as I want to keep it for myself! From arrival to check out we had a fantastic time at this special hotel from check in to the food and comfy bedrooms. The restaurant and staff were simply the best, with sparkling wine of tap for breakfast to set you up for the day. Terrace for breakfast and main restaurant for dinner worked well. Aperol Spritz and Negroni cocktails were spot on. The Pool area at the front give you a good sea view and lovely sunset. We are coming back next year.... Big thank you and congratulations to the full team

These twelve rocky butresses are part of the Table mountain range that continues southward from Cape Town. They form a beautiful dramatic backdrop to the beaches on the Atlantic side of the Cape peninsula. It is possible to hike through these massive rock formations. The most popular trail is called the Tranquility Cracks hike. It starts halfway Cape Town and Hout Bay.

We were so happy here. In an effort to make us comfortable, no detail was overlooked. Everything was gorgeous and everyone was nice, especially the wait staff in the dining room. Breakfasts were incredible! Watch the sunset from the (I think it's called) Leopard Lounge. When I came back, my friends wanted copies of the photos we took there. Great, wonderful stay.
