First thing, this place is hidden within all the fun shops and yummy restaurants at the Waterfront so you’ll have to keep your eye open for it. It has about 3 floors and a little museum on the very last level with some African artifacts....More

Huge building with a lots of interesting stuff, employees were quiet helpful and knew a lot about the culture and objects. The museum was also very interesting and clean. If you are at the V&A waterfront you should check out this place!

Stumbled upon African Trading Port while wandering around the V&A Waterfront. It ended up being a superb stop for souvenir shopping, for ourselves and for family and friends. You're drawn in by all the magnificent sculptures outside of the building. Then inside, more traditional souvenirs...More

There are lots and lots of souvenirs here and if Cape Town is your only stop I can see the attraction of buying here. We found better and cheaper products on the Panorama Tour in the north of South Africa. My wife bought a tee...More
