What a beach...

This is really a worthwhile stop. Sparkling water, soft sand, sun and surf. Beautiful beach, without a doubt.

Breathtaking views and beautiful beaches. Great view of the Apostles. Also good hiking and some nice cafes in the area.

My favourite beach in Cape Town. Water is freezing but the setting is stunning. Full of locals as well as tourists

Clifton Beach in Sea Point area is no longer what it used to be. It was a disappointment to revisit it. There are far better beaches to visit along the Garden Route.

These are the perfect beaches smaller ones) when the Souteastern is blowing because it is sheltered. White sand, turkoise waters, clean and safe. Parking can be difficult on weekends and there are steps to reach the beach. Water is very cold so swimming would be difficult

I drove by and stopped several times. The beauty can not be beat. The water was cod, and I mean cold, but with appropriate wet suits surfing and kite sailing become a possibility -- at least that is what I was told by my colleaguues who went out

Though there's practically nothing else to do in Clifton other than the beaches, this area is still beautiful. Pristine beaches, calmer waters and not as crazy windy as Camps Bay, these are more ideal for laying out with Cape Town's elite. Though the water is tropical blue, it's a lie! The water is frigid so I advise against swimming unless... More

Clifton is a wealthy and much sought after location by the rich and famous. Houses here can go for vast sums of money and its obvious when you see them up on the hills. The beaches are pristine and the blue water sets them off. Beautiful place.
