Best beaches in Cape

Four to choose between however on the Atlantic side so very cold but for a Swede no problem. Suggest beach no 4 with a nice restaurant close by.

We walked from our hotel in sea point all the way along the coastline, through Clifton and camps bay beaches. Really enjoyable walk with stunning scenery. Beach has golden sands with great backdrop of greenery and mountains. Definitely worth a visit!

Every time I visit Cape Town I can't wait to get to Clifton beach. I love the 4 sections of beaches each with it own uniqueness. My preference is Clifton 1 and 4 but all are great. The only downside is how cold the sea is . Mind you if you do venture in beware of the strong currents. There... More

This is a nice place to spend few hours on the fine white sand. The ocean is very cold of course but the view and the atmosphere is compensating for that. Quite a lot of steps but this is making the beach secluded.

Delightful, very easily accessible...walk, cycle, bus, taxi or car. Not easy for anyone with walking problems but sunny, relaxing, enjoyable. Often a place to be seen!

This is a very nice, clean, secluded feeling beach in the heart of Cape Town. There is a lot of nice powdery sand to choose from as well as vendors selling drinks and renting chairs and umbrellas. And you cant miss the hot gay boys in speedos that were every where! I didnt know which scenery was best!

The vibe at this beach is just so amazing. Love the fact that you can hire bicycles to explore the area.

White sand, blue sea, little wind compared to camps bay, funny ice cream/water sellers ... I miss this beach 😢

On a very windy day--VERY windy--- I went to Camps Bay Beach--- which was wide open and impossible to lay down----only two people there. A local told me to walk up the hill to Clifton---I am SO GLAD I did. It was a long walk down the stairs from the road---but well worth it. Padded lounge chairs available for 50... More
