Take your picnic basket, lots of water and enjoy yourself on the beach. There is lots of restaurants within walking distance if you tire of all the sun and sand.

The most beautiful beach in Cape Town and full of hustle and bustle just like any beach overseas. Foods and drinks can be bought from the local hangouts.Safe and with great views of the mountain range. Parking is a big problem though.

Had to park miles away but boy was it worth it... the beaches are stunning although the water freeeeeeezing. The views and photo ops as well as rubbing shoulders with the Clifton faithful

There are shuttles available to a from the airport if you book with a hotel which is included in your fee as well as taxis but tit is easier to rent a car for a few days as there are so many places to explore which is easier... More

We had a car, but you can also use Uber--there are cabs everywhere to take you where you want to go near the Central Cape.
