The monument is large and has a great view of the north, east and south of Cape Town. See the original wooden bench, Cecil Rhodes sat on while surveying his land holdings. There's a copper bust of him in the memorial but the nose has...More

Located in a wonderful gardens, this statue had been vandalized and had sign about the terrors of mining all around the base. The location is part of a very nice walk.

I love meeting friends here. The views are just spectacular. There is a restaurant/coffee shop which is great for lunch or an afternoon snack.

It is a beautiful construction with an amazing view of Cape Town, unfortunately the place was dirty and poorly maintained, even Rhodes statue was depredated (there was no nose).

Drove up to the Rhodes Memorial to see the sunset but found the gate locked and no way to get to the top. I guess it's for security reasons, but it was disappointing.
