The view alone is worth the climb but the memorial to Cecil Rhodes is very impressive and worthwhile to reflect on the history behind the monument. Grab a refreshment at the little restaurant nearby.

It is amazing to see the massive granite rocks hewn into those huge blocks and the view is lovely. Would be nice if someone could perhaps weed the area as it looks a little unkempt.

A magnificent edifice with magnificent views, a memorial to a man who was controversial even in his own life time. The vandalism is shameful, the man is long dead so destroying ones own history and damaging tourist sites is pretty stupid. There is a good...More
