MUIZENBERG BEACH IS A DIFFERENCE EXPERIENCE EACH TIME My son and I had a meal down at a local restaurant then took a walk along the beach (not in the sand...on the pavement)! Interesting to notice were that many children looked like it was their job to be busy having FUN in the sand.... We much rather preferred having a discussion about culture norms and DIFFERENCES... I have a writing studio in Muizenberg. Due to LOCKDOWN, I hardly venture anywhere near the shopping centre close to the beach. However, today, I essentially had no choice. I took an uber ride from where I live till Surfers corner. The fee was R14 which I thought ridiculous so paid the driver R20 (same back to my home)! I sat on a public bench and had a picnic lunch for one. Afterward, I took a slow stroll pass the beach front shops to notice which restaurants have closed, which are still open and to witness the positive seeming changes with building and or renovation taking place. Down at the main road, I stopped to view Muizenberg Park...so lovely this time of year. Of course, I did do essential food shopping before tripping over home, happy to be alive. The Crystal Tea Cup…

Went surfing there back on a vacation. Place needs to be cleaned up badly. Car guards harass you and there is junk. Nice place to learn surfing though.

easy to park along the waterfront. The beach is really large and nice. The point of view is just beautiful. And the funny touch is all these coloured beach cabins
