No need to spend a lot of time in this small fishing village but still cool to stop by. The seafood is good and fresh and worth a bite on your way to boulders beach or wherever your next stop is.

Had a day trip here whilst on holiday to Cape Town. Looked nice but big signs were set up stating not to go in the water as it was polluted! Not very good for a popular tourist attraction..

Nice but really windy today. Lots of good views and seals around. Not much to do right at the waterfront.

Stayed in Hout Bay for a couple of nights. Chapmans peak drive and hike are amazing, and the starting point for the seal island is from here. Amazing place

Something for everyone here. Cheap eats, more expensive, boat trips, resident seals to watch or just meander around and take a look. We came via the BLUE open top bus and spent a bout an hour here
