We stayed for two nights in an apartment that overlooked the bay, and the view did not disappoint! Although our rooftop hot tub was broken the first night, this was quickly remedied. There is a great seafood restaurant right on the bay that serves DELICIOUS...More

Hout Bay has some charm and in many ways, is very different from other Cape Town locations, without being far away. A working fishing harbour, an outing on a boat in the bay, a nice fish lunch at one of various places makes for a...More

We were on a business trip and went there for the food. It was amazing and the portions was huge. The sight seeing we did was breathtaking! Would go back with my family this time around, to explore more.

The Scenery is excellent. Visited about 20 times, a must when you come to Cape Town. The fish is a total rip off and always fried in old oil. You get better quality fish at most very overrated.

Hi. Hout's Bay is some kind of village by the sea. You will definitely then need a car to go to the waterfront and back.
