Living in Cape Town, Hout Bay is probably the best place to come to for a break away from the “city life” super relaxed, lots of restaurants and B&B’s. A good place to kick back and relax.

Hout Bay is a lovely open beach - great to strolls along the beach, followed by delicious fish and chips and a boat trip to Seal Island to finish it off - great family experience

The cruise on The Hout Bay is an exciting experience. The cruise boat sailed right upto the colony of the seals, hundreds of them, many resting on the rocks and large numbers swimming in the bay. A great view. The cruise lasting about two hours...More

If you are going to cape point, make sure you include Hout Bay on your way back, before sunset. Nice road trip with good view points on it. And you will arrive at Cape Town through twelve apostoles.

Hi. Hout's Bay is some kind of village by the sea. You will definitely then need a car to go to the waterfront and back.
