We had a wonderful morning with Zainie in the Bo-Kaap. A walk in the area with visits to the local shops and then a great cooking class in Zainie's home. Definitely one of the highlights of our trip to South Africa, highly recommended.

Bo-Kaap and Cape Malay Cooking Class was excellent. I enjoyed spending a short walk among this quirky neighborhood learning the history. I also learned about spice versus heat! There is unique architecture and colors in the neighborhood and the foods. And speaking of the food,...More
