A lot of stalls selling mostly the same kind of stuff but nice and interesting stuff. Get ready to haggle for a good price. Bought a nice canvas painting at ZAR 400 from ZAR 600 originally asked for.

People set up their small booths to sell their wares. Do not go here if you are not comfortable negotiating price. You will end up paying too much. But that is part of the fun. There is quite a variety of souvenirs and clothing. It...More
Green Point market has an assortment of stalls selling some good craft products. If you are looking for a bargain, you need to spend some time talking to the shopkeeper, and accompanied by your local guide

Just a small touristy market with a lot of similar and pricey stuff. Every shop offers clothes and jewelry. Nothing special. I recommend to watch the tourists while bargaining, its much more interesting than to look for things for your own.
Walking around from Sea Point on a Saturday morning found this charming local food market and great place for a brunch. Really interesting mix of things on offer and plenty of people sampling dishes on trestle tables.
This is a great spot for local souvenirs. There are several ATMs in the areas that are not considered safe. So make sure you ask your hotel ahead of time where you should go. Make sure you negotiate on the prices of goods.
