I have been on the Jolly Roger before and had a great time. This time however, the sea became rough, resulting in my losing the food I had eaten earlier. Crew members rallied around, wiped me down and even provided me with a pirate shirt...More

We were so very disappointed with our experience aboard the Jolly Roger. On arrival the crew were smoking, shortly after departing the unnecessarily load music started, music which has nothing to do with a pirate boat but resembled something off a 2014 top hits list...More

Did this two years ago. Really sad that the pirate show has now been stopped due to complaints. Why? It was fantstic. Hope this returns for the next time. 3 adults and 3 children. Crew are so much fun. Saw dolphins, sunfish and seals. One...More

The trip was very enjoyable, but very loud. Could not really have a conversation because of the loud music. The view was beautiful. I also expected more "pirate-related" activities.

We have a lot of jokes in our family, one is my husband is a pirate at heart so when I saw this tour boat in the V&A harbor we had to do it. The boat is totally campy but it would be a lot...More

A friend and I took the Jolly Roger Cruise as part of the iVenture card. Service at the main desk was appalling: limited communication; rudeness rather than language differences. Late start to tour. Service aboard the boat was adequate. Champagne was of poor quality (FlippenNice)...More

My wife and I booked on another charter for a sunset champagne cruise. We have been seeing the Jolly Roger motoring around the waterfront over the time of our vacation. It always seems like it’s in a hurry to go somewhere. Last evening, March 3,...More

The most stupid activity in Cancun. It is noise polution for the whole bay. Insipid and meaningless.

We were so disappointed with the supposed Pirate Ship. Nothing but the design of the ship was about Pirates. The crew were not dressed as pirates and all one does is sit on the boat, leave the harbour and return. When we first left, the...More

First, it's just a 1-hour cruise - there's no pirate show for kids or anything like that on board - and it's expensive compared to other cruises (R175 for adults, R85 for kids). We thought the crew would act like pirates or something, but they...More

I seriously underestimated this cruise. We booked a different boat but it was cancelled due to high winds at the last minute so by chance we were transferred to the Jolly Roger. It was awesome! Great atmosphere, great staff, great champagne, great tunes, unbeatable sunset....More

We attended a birthday party on the boat and had a great time. The staff where awesome and kept the kids entertained all the time. The sail into Table bay was excellent, as there was a bit of swell, which had everybody hanging on, but...More
