Modern and worth a tour inside

Was waiting for the weather to improve for a helicopter flight so walked to the stadium to do the 12 oclock tour. Impressive from the outside and very modern inside.

We have visited the stadium many times - From Ajax Cape Town matches to concerts. Design is excellent - easily on par: if not better than most European stadiums. Acoustics a bit strange during concerts.

Superb venue overall - I attended the Cape Town Rugby Sevens event and thoroughly enjoyed the vibe, the facilities and the location of the stadium. Excellent venue!

This place is always a place that is going to be close to me heart and my familys heart. Seeing that I watched it getting built and the field growing. The thing that points out that it is Cape Town Stadium is the Salt and pepper chairs and the glass roof.

Beautiful Stadium from outside and especially inside. The stadium is very very neat. Perfect for any event; sport, music shows. Great vibe. The field can be seen from any angle at any seat.

Built for the 2010 FIFA World Cup, Green Point Stadium (okay, officially it is the Cape Town Stadium) is now a big white elephant for Cape Town,. There is talk of turning it into affordable housing, anything to stop the fiscal hemorrhage. Other than that, it is s nice stadium. It is home to Ajax Cape Town and Cape Town... More

This amazing architectural iconic structure has Cape Towns Table mountain as a backdrop. Can be viewed from land, air and sea alike. Considered as a "white elephant" by many and a leech of taxpayers money it is well worth a visit if there is a major event scheduled to be staged. Either sport or music. If one drives to the... The architecture of the stadium is too good. Looks best from table mountain. Guided tour of the stadium was very informative. Liked the facilities for sports fans, especially for the wheelchair access. The best part was the visit to players dressing rooms, which we otherwise cannot visit if we go to watch a match. Surprised to see a temporary police... More

Cape Town Stadium was built to host the World Cup Soccer and is one of the few stadia to remain in use post event. As a result, it is well maintained. The area around the stadium features a lush golf course, athletics track, gym, and bio diversity park. There is lots of parking and access is pretty easy to navigate.... More

The Cape Town Stadium (Green Point Stadium) is home to Ajax Cape Town FC. It was built for the 2010 FIFA World Cup and is a lovely stadium. Try to get to see a game here!
