We did a Cape of Good Hope round trip tour with this company and found them excellent. The running commentary throughout the day gave us a full and well received history of not only the route but the whole South African history. Felt very safe throughout. The highlight were the seals, we had very windy weather which made the boat... More

I booked the Peninsula tour at short notice (1 day) via getyourguide.com as I wanted to ensure maximum flexibility to change my day for visiting Table Mountain depending on the weather. I received an immediate confirmation of availability when booking (really helpful as many of the other tour websites did not support such short notice) as well as prompt feedback... More

While this review is long overdue, the Township Tour offered by African Eagle Day Tours should not be missed if you're traveling to Cape Town and want to learn more about the history of this diverse country as well as present day life for many of its citizens. I cannot say enough about how wonderful and eye opening this tour... More

Day 1- We did a tour of the Wine Lands - great tour, but the driver/rep was unable to take card payment and we had to go to an ATM to withdraw of R3000. This proved no problem and we duly paid. Day 2 - We had booked a private driver for the Cape Tour to save the 2 hours... More

We have been looking forward to the Cape peninsular tour so much. Typical for first time visitors to Cape Town. We were to be picked up 810am but driver/guide Leticia arrived at 835. That set a domino effect for all the delays the follows into the eventful day. Pitied and 3 PP who were picked up before 7am and second... More

I traveled to Cape Town with my wife and booked a tour with this company, I booked through a telephone call at 5pm. They sent a driver the following morning - a colored guy called Basil. We had the best day around the Peninsula. That guy was the best guide ever. Based on that trust, I booked another full day... More

African Eagle Day Tours has been a lovely experience. I booked for a friend from Egypt and decided to tag along on the Cape Peninsula Full Day Tour, which covered the Atlantic Seaboard from Camps Bay to Simonstown. It is much safer to book than to go solo, especially if you are foreign to Cape Town. We went to Boulder's... More

I have read a few mixed reviews about the African Eagle Tours and I am assuming this can often depend on the individual drivers, but speaking for my party of four we had a most wonderful day touring the vineyards and sampling the wine and snack accompaniments. For a first time visitor to the area it is a good way... More

We went on the American Eagles winelands half day tour. It was very poorly organised. They did not collect us from our hotel until one hour after the pre arranged pick up time. The content of the tour was disappointing and rushed. It was only wine tasting with not enough information about the wines or the wine making process. On... More

We took the evening township tour of Langa with African Eagle and we're so glad we did. We must admit, we were nervous. Langa is these people's home, not a tourist attraction. But to tour the area gives a huge insight into the culture and backbone of this country. We were also pleased to hear some of the fee we... More
