Full-Day Franschhoek Wine Tram Tour from Cape Town

79 reviews
With three centuries of wine-growing heritage, the Franschhoek Valley is one of the Cape’s top wine areas—and the Franschhoek Wine Tram, a vintage-style tram, is the perfect way to explore. Travel in air-conditioned comfort from downtown Cape Town, then choose between the purple and orange lines. Besides an onboard wine tasting and narration, you have time to visit multiple estates on one of two lines.

Limnos bakery should be honest with customers especially now that they sell perishables. I visited Limnos Canal Walk on February 17, 2021 to place an order for a birthday cake (carrot cake) to be collected on the 18th of February 2021. The Cashier offered me a carrot cake that was in the fridge and i said no I would like to place a special order because I want it freshly made as I would keep the cake for the next few days. She said it’s alright your freshly baked cake will be delivered the following day. When I went to collect the cake on February 18, 2021, the cashier handed me a box. When I opened the box later when I had got back home, the cake was already cut/demarcated I could see this was not a fresh cake. It was a special birthday cake order and why would the store demarcate/cut my cake? I phoned the store and enquired about the cake was cut? I was informed that they had not taken delivery for the day, so they gave me what was available, and they highlighted that delivery for the day was coming later. The shop instructed me to bring back the cake. When I got back to the shop, the lady who was assisting me could not get a quick approval from the manager. I then decided to go to your competitor to buy a birthday cake as I was not sure how long this was going to take before a decision is made. It took about 45 minutes for the shop to reach the manager who then resolved that Limnos could grant me a voucher not refunding me. I expressed to them that I do not need a voucher anymore because of their sloppiness, I already made alternatives for the birthday cake. I asked for the refund, but the shop decided not to refund me but for me to keep that very cake.. Since, I had already bought another cake because of Limnos failing to resolve my case in time, mis-representing information about delivery of the cake and on top of that cutting my birthday cake, I would like to be refunded my money I paid for the cake. As if that was not enough the Cherele one of the Managers was not apologetic at all, I called her this morning and she agreed that the cake was not delivered on the day meaning no special cake was ever made for my order. She was screaming at me that Mam we cannot make loses yes my staff made a mistake but that will be addressed in a staff meeting no apologies no remorse on my side. That means that Limnos is forcing me to donate r500.

The unoccupied and uncleaned books and crannies of this massive complex is a real issue for someone with kids. Parking issue to be resolved if more are to be attracted.

We had a lovely meal and great service. The fish flaked so nice and tasted so well, oven fried and deep fried.

Our first visit to this area and we were pleasantly surprised with the Centre. Very spacious and your feeling is one of "it's nice to be here".
