Don't bother with a taxi. This bus is excellent. Really well priced and superb commentary. We did the blue route and stopped off at the township which was a humbling experience. Very safe and well worth the tours make sure you tip. We did 300rand.

We joined the one day Cape Explorer tour and it was fantastic! The bus was comfortable, the guide was informative, logistics were well organised. We saw amazing animals at the Cape Point - Baboons, Elands, Bontebok, Ostriches, even a whale way out in the ocean....More

I did the Blue Tour, Red Tour, Purple Tour (Constantia wine tour), the Cape Explorer Wine Tour and the Cape Point Cape Explorer tour. I loved EACH of them. The wine tour was definitely my favorite, the cheapest way to see the wineries of Stellenbosch...More

These busses may look touristy, but if you use them as transportation to where you want to go they are well worth it. We did the blue route that goes via the wine country and coast and loved the scenery.

The experience was great we got on at long Street and headed around. We stopped off at lots of spots like Constantia neck. Being a local it was different viewing Cape Town this way. I would recommend it for international as well as the locals.
