Although small, this place was wonderful. I love the work they are doing at rescuing some of the animals that they have. We were able to have their "cheetah experience," which was just incredible! To pet a cheetah? Are you kidding me? So cool!! Watching...More

We stayed 2 nights at Inverdoorn and had an amzing time. If the ride from Cape Town wasn't so long and tedious, we would probably have only stayed 1 night though, as you can see all animals within 2 safaris. Our guide Jacques (or Jack,...More

Overall a nice experience. Pluses: The transfer from our hotel in Cape Town was smooth, in a clean minibus, the driver was quite polite and very punctual. Once in the reserve, the landscape was spectacular and we were welcomed with cold drinks and cookies. The...More

Our guided safari was a hit. We learned a lot about the big five. The whole day with our tourguide was very exciting. We can only recommend Inverdoorn Game Reserve.

A great time here. Just an overnight stay but everything was very well organised with very comfortable accommodation, two great jeep safari rides and great food and wine.

As Inverdoorn is a reserve focused much more heavily on conservation, and not one with all sorts of animals roaming freely together on a huge landscape, you are almost guaranteed to see all of the big 5. While what I have described may sound vaguely...More

The room was nice, the pool relaxing, the game drives fun, and the service was pretty good. Enjoyed the desert sunset. The food was decent, but nothing to write home about. Driving out to the place was an adventure too!

Invendoorn is a private game conservation reserve, so they conduct their own ‘safari’ drives. So, you just need to reserve a tour and get yourself there. If you are not mobile, check with invendoors on options: they may be... More

The rides are a little bumpy depending on how many are in your group and if you are sitting the back. The drivers don't go very fast and someone who is pregnant it depends on how far long they are in the pregnancy. As for... More

yes you can manage it from FH which puts you closer to Inverdoorn than my journey from Cape Town. The last part of the journey is on dirt road which is slow going but scenic. From memory it took us maybe 45 mins from that... More
