We have stayed in the Mount Nelson many times over the years. The hotel is hands down 5 star and the staff really make you feel at home. Unfortunately the hotel, once cleared of day trippers having afternoon tea, has become a serious contender for...More

A friend and I went to the Planet Bar yesterday for tea and a quick pre theatre snack. Her coffee and my tea arrived. We asked the waitress if the houmas snack was gluten free and she went to check but did not report back...More

Very sophisticated, outstanding cocktails, interesting touches of the planets combined with the Nelson/Hamilton history. Seriously stylish.

Visited with friends on a Thursday night for a brief post dinner drink. Serve an excellent Negroni and very nice complimentary nibbles in an interesting setting (extremely upmarket decor) without service being too stiff.
