Just up Kloof Nek Road from the center of town is this thriving beach community. Plenty of trendy nightclubs, shops and cafes bring diners and shoppers, while tranquil seas and fine white sand draw sun worshippers and swimmers.

Nice place to take a stroll on the water. People do come up and try and sell you things but will go away and are polite about it. Good people watching and very clean

Went with friends, we had some sushi and seafood and it was all delicious, they even made some diary-free sides for our lactose intolerant friend.

I absolutely love Camps Bay Beach. It is one of the world's most beautiful, but in summer it can be very crowded. To escape the crowds, continue along the coast away from Cape Town to Lluandudno Beach.

Straight out the door from the Bay Hotel, a very picturesque beach. Lots of sand and very pretty views.

Incredible sunsets, clean white sand, mountains in the back -- simply an amazing setting for a beach. Even has some rock outcroppings that are beautiful. Beach is right across the street from the main downtown Camps Bay strip, so everything is close.

You can get there by uber, taxi or the hop-on hop-off bus. Fantastic views of these amazing mountains that are iconic of Cape Town.

We were lucky to find parking in this busy suburb – we wanted to walk along the beach path but it was not that many people at the time and the number of unsavory characters and a lack of security made us uncomfortable – we...More

We walked along the shore and it was such a calming experience. The waves were quite big and splashing on the far rocks. Its much quieter and the sunset was outstanding....
