Just up Kloof Nek Road from the center of town is this thriving beach community. Plenty of trendy nightclubs, shops and cafes bring diners and shoppers, while tranquil seas and fine white sand draw sun worshippers and swimmers.

WOW what a beautiful setting the beach and scenery are heaven, a wonderful place to sit and watch the world go by or go for a long walk. The wind can blow and the water is freezing, but never the less it stunning.

Beautiful beach. We went for a nice walk, stuck our feet in the water and then headed up to the bars for a cocktail.

With the 12 aposles behind you, no wonder its considered a top beach. However the water is quite literally ice cold. If you want warm water head to the east side of the Cape to the indian ocean.

This beach is at prime place and classy at the same time. As Victoria street is right at the beach it makes it very happening. The beach is clean and the sand is whitish in color. One can go there and chill at the beach or at the street nearby.

This is eye-candy stuff. Framed by the Twelve Apostles who lord over the millionaire mansions while book-ended by rocky headlands which cradle tidal swimming pools, this beach pulsates with raw beauty as well as the human kind. The femme quipped that its like Venice Beach on the Atlantic with skimpily clothed locals coming here to see and be seen. All... More

Found Camp's Bay beach itself ok but it looks quite dirty and if the wind is up you'll be eating sand. One advantage is that if you are on the beach and fancy some food or a drink just pop over the road to the bars and restaurants.

Camps Bay is an affluent sought after suburb of Cape Town, I have been living in the area between mid 2016 till last February 2017. In summer it attracts a large number of foreign visitors, including me, as well as South Africans but not everybody knows the big issue of this area. To my dismay I could see from my... More

A truly stunning beach with the Ocean in one direction and mountains behind you. Topped off by Table Mountain. A view you couldn't make up. Yes the sea is cold but I am from the UK so we tend to put up with the odd little bit that is not quite right!!

A great beach to walk along and to lie on but only the brave will venture in to the sea. It is absolutely freezing! A little further up the beach there is a small seawater pool. This is marginally warmer for those who might like to swim. A great beach for people watching - always so much going on.
