I will only say this - I had 10 days in SA and I gave 6 days to the Garden Route and 4 days to CT. If I were to do it again, I would split it 8 - 2 to the Garden Route !!...More

Don't be put off by people saying South Africa is dangerous... just use your common sense, there are some areas on the outskirts of Cape Town but once you're away on the R62 Garden Route it's the scenery that will take your breath away not...More

This was the holiday of a lifetime, scenery wonderful, wildlife exciting, birds brilliant, yellow bishops, red bishops, knysna lauries, lost count in the end. Plenty of variety in the activities. Lost my heart to an elephant named Sally!

We re-named this The Dirt & Cow Route. There are some nice little towns but the scenery between each is extremely limited, and the towns are not close together. Unless you have extra time on your vacation, I'd recommend giving this a miss. Mossel Bay...More
