Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

Outstanding beauty surrounding a 53 year old 9 Hole Golf course - I am sure the challenges of running are immense - congratulations to the team .
We enjoyed Breakfast and pre sunset dinner at Henry’s Restaurant and Bar is the ultimate spot to enjoy the incredible bush setting and visiting wildlife.
Service and food top notch .
Really and incredible setting .

During a recent visit to the Kruger Park we had a round of 9 on the Skukuza golf course. It was an amazing experience, knowing that you are playing golf in the best game reserve in the world on an unfenced golf course. Proud of myself that I did not loose a ball until the last hole where I bounced back into the water with mr Crocodile watching. Decided to take a drop at the Moffie Boffie!! Truly a day to remember !

This is a must if your are a keen golfer! The staff were very friendly and helpful. The course is well kept and open to the wild life! We saw hippos, crocodile and warthogs and many wild birds among other. What a lovely experience! The food is great at the club house restaurant. Worth it!

Played a quick 9 holes in between game drives while staying at Notten's in Sabi Sands. We had a great time and enjoyed the course but especially the wildlife sightings. Hippos and crocs in the pond, warthog, impala and monkeys on the fairways. A truly unique experience! The fairways were in rough shape (it was the winter and the dry season) but greens were surprisingly green! Course was not crowded at all so we were able to play at a very relaxed pace. Last, but not least, it was remakably affordable: we rented clubs, got cart and a hired a spotter for the equivalent of about $30 each!

This is a "must do" if you are a golfer and in the park. The greens are terrible but the fairways are OK and some of the holes are well-designed. But don't play here for the golf. It's unfenced and open to the wild. I saw hippo and warthog on the course and elephant very nearby. The reception was friendly and good cheap food was available. Golf prices a little on the top side for the quality of the course but worth it for the experience

Although this is a golfing "must", the condition of the greens is very challenging. We enjoyed the experience but wouldn't hastily go back

Skukuza Golf Course is a MUST DO for all golfers. Not often that one gets to tee-off with hippo's grunting within 10 meters of you, or playing over a large expanse of water only to putt with a crocodile watching you . . . . . . wart-hogs grunting and feeding on the Fairways and monkeys watching your golf-ball with greater intent than you normally do.
Its safe though - the siren goes off when there are elephants, buffaloes or lions in the vicinity and the Course is then closed until these guys move through.
Food is acceptable but service a little slow. Pro-Shop is friendly but basic and very often no internet connection for entering your score.

We did not play the 9-hole course but had a visit to evaluate their facilities for an eventual next visit. On request we were given a leaflet with some details of the golf course by a friendly lady. Drinks were very good (e.g. white wine) and low cost, especially compared to the prices one can pay in a European golf-club. Good athmosphere !
Large parking.

Great for breakfast and we saw a pride of lions lying on the road on the road in. Not expensive and menu limited but fullfilling.

Had been looking forward to this since booking this over a month ago through the website. Had a tee off time at seven in the morning, but arrived a bit late due to the fact it's so bloody hard to find. No sign posts or nothing until your nearly there, just asked a few people for directions, give yourself plenty of time to find. Arrived there and was met by a woman 'who all I can say should NOT be working with the public'. Very abrupt, try's to talk over you, rolls her eyes and is only interested in the sound of her own voice. Hired some clubs of which i can only say you could find in a skip, you could get more more money for the scrap value. The course itself is of a standard you you would get at VERY BAD municipal course and I mean that. Ive been playing golf for the last 30 years and this ranks with the worst. The animals are more at home here than the golfers. Certainly would NOT recommend this place at all, not for golfers, only for animal lovers. Good luck to mr hippo, wild boer and monkey, beware of the scary woman at the pro shop.
