Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

The beaches here in St. Lucia are rather deserted and not many folks seem to be going to the beach. Not sure why. Beach is waliking distance from town, but there is no buses or taxi service for the lazy.
maybe the issue is time, coz many visitors to St. Licoa are bussed in, then bussed out after doing the HIPPO tour..

All the beaches around are wonderful, this is lovely place, not crowded at all. Will be visiting again and again, one of the best, I am looking forward to Kosi bay soon

We went to the beach a couple of times and each time it was blowing a gale. Someone told us to go to Cape Vidal, it a 45 minute drive through a game reserve, we say giraffes, zebra and lots of antelope, the beach is stunning and is not as windy as St Lucia, we preferred it here.

Our short visit to St Lucia beach were spoiled by the congregation of drunkards lining the parking area and beach. We parked our car, walked up to the beach, had a quick look and left. If St Lucia municipality cannot improve the security situation I would not recommend this area to anybody.

The vast beaches are clean and remarkably free from pollution and litter. Poles with lifesaving buoys mark swimming areas. There were no lifeguards on duty. The facilities were clean and well-kept.

There are 2 swimming beaches in St Lucia with parking areas. I didnt use the bathroom so cannot comment on those. The water line is a short walk away and the rest is well...beach sand and waves.

My two grand daughters and I were walking down the road towards the main beach - after the security check boom - a vehicle came speeding down the road swerving from side to side on the road. I moved my two grand daughters to the side of the road into the bushes - we narrowly missed been hit by the vehicle who drove straight towards us. I reported this to the security team at the boom who were not really interested in listening to me - I then went to the police station to report the incident - only to fin 1 police officer who did not even take a statement from me. I was very traumatised by the incident and will never return to St Lucia. Such a pity as this is a really beautiful spot - but personal safety does come first.

Clean sand with nice view of the ocean and the sand dunes. Very good for sunbathing. Not that suitable for swimming because the waves become stronger sometimes.

St Lucia beach is a highly popular location for tourists and it was well organised, clean and accessible. If you're in the area and you want a beach there's no question you'll want to go here.
