This is a lovely place to walk. They have an amazing dog park, clean rest rooms, large mature trees, clean lake. We were there off season, and I can imagine it when the heat and kids are present, but do visit off season, you won't regret it!

We spent 8 days here and I loved the large site space. It is not like most RV parks where you are parked so close togather. I gave is a rating of 4 because they do not have sewer hook ups. Had I known that prior to booking I probably would not have stayed 8 days. It was my fault... More

Very clean and well manicured beach. I was blown away at just how nice this area is. We are relocating here and I can not wait.

We spent 7 nights here and it was a great campground. Lots of spots close to lake, close bathrooms, good free showers and it is close to places to eat. The camp hosts and rangers were very helpful during our stay.

We reserved a beach campsite online. We were not sure what to expect from a state park in town but the campsite was nice with a tree, table, fire pit and beautiful view of Lake Havasu. The park is an oasis along the lake with a nice easy hiking trail within the park and a cactus garden. It was December... More

As a rule I don't really like State Parks in most states because I prefer to have full hook-ups. LH State Park is an exception. The park personnel were easy to deal with allowing us to drive thru to check out the RV area and told us to be sure to write down the sites we liked so we would... More

We had been to this State Park several years ago in the spring, evidently before it was completed. At that time the sites were small rectangles surrounded by brush that hid most views of the lake- Not very attractive a venue. This time our trip to Lake Havasu had a dual purpose- we had a 'new to us' RV which... More

The Park is a bit smaller than I had imagined. But its actually a nice strip of beach front with boat launches, hiking trails and beautiful white sand. I spent over an hour in the Cactus Garden, which is very nice, and of course the lake is gorgeous. Its greatest drawback is that it runs parallel to some very busy,... More
