We rented kayaks from Kaaiman's River kayak and with the helpful direction of the kayak man, we headed out. Low tide made for some challenges over the low-water, but not once we were headed into the waterfall area.

We hired a kayak from Adventure Time and spend a good couple of hours on the Kaaimans River. We even stopped for a picnic at a quiet spot along the banks. Unfortunately the waterfall was not very spectacular this time round due to the drought...More

We rented a canoe and made our way to the waterfall. This was the fullest that I have seen the waterfall in many years, the river however felt empty. We really enjoyed it and the waterfall was Beautiful!!!

This is dependent on the amount of water in the streams, can be heavy at times or almost dry. Still, it is beautiful and the rocky area great backdrop for photos and climbing around

A great trail with a lot of bird life. We even saw a rare species of the rain frog. Very well taken care of and maintained path (mainly wooden) - yet also quite exhausting as a lot of stairs. I can recommend to rent a...More

It should be noted that the waterfall is no longer accessible to the public, as it is on private property. Unfortunately SANParks does not advise visitors of this situation, resulting in many unhappy hikers!!

We picked up Kayaks at Eden Adventures and at the end of a 30 minute paddle and 30 minute walk sat down with a nice picnic that we had purchased earlier in the day. Waterfall itself and the surrounding lagoon aren't that impressive but nonetheless...More

You can hire canoes at the parking area, which is alongside the N2, the main road as well as the bridge. All very easy to find. As you travel from George to Wildernis it is on your right. You won't miss it.
