Wilderness lagoon is an interesting place where a person can sit and relax, take pictures, run, walk and more :) you won't need to spend more than 30 mins there.. Just go and enjoy the beauty and smell of nature 🌾🌿💕💕

One of the must see places when you are in Wilderness. There are a lot of B&B's and guest houses next to the lagoon and some places offer boat trips that go up the lagoon.

Lovely to walk along here just before sunset - spot some fishermen, or a couple having a peaceful impromptu picnic while enjoying the serenity.

Eight years on from our last visit it was nice to find that the boardwalk had been completed, so one can get close to the water and reedbeds where plenty of birds are to be found.

We did the eco-cruise run by Mike which was a nice experience with informative commentary that lasted about 90 minutes. You can take a picnic and Mike offers free snacks and water too if required. Nice trip.
