WNP is a pleasure for camping. Flat, lush lawns between forested mountains and a sparkling river! One can canoe, hike, cycle or just relax around your braai fire. The facilities are clean and neat, the service is friendly and efficient. Best of all is the birding! Knysna Turaco, Dusky Flycatcher, Malachite, Giant and Half-collared Kingfishers and many, many more! Easy... More

We went here for a boat cruise but didn't expect a hefty R120 per person entry fee on top of the ride fare that covers you for one day only. It's a lovely place, albeit fairly basic in amenities but the lack of people shows they've got their pricing badly wrong.

Through the wetlands for an hour. Great tuition before we started and fabulous scenery! Very exciting experience.

Lovely walk, well maintained paths and great scenery. Staff were very attentive and polite. The hike detour to cross the river with stepping stones was great exercise and had exquisite views

There are a few walks along rugged paths which are lovely. You should use insect repellent though as we have done a few walks and we're bitten Put on walking sandals or shoes as the walkways are not flat. The half kingfisher walk is best and you can canoe half way which is lovely and there are kingfishers to spot.... More

With lush forest, hiking trails and rivers and lagoons you could spend a week or two here. We hired kayaks and headed up to a waterfall path for a lovely morning of complete relaxation.

The path is well maintained and you don't have to be an experienced wanderer to make the trip to the waterfall.

Take the Butch and Sundance jump at the Kingfisher waterfall. In SA its called kloofing. Hire a canoe at Eden Adventures and paddle up the Touw river for a few kilometres then walk the trail for a few kilometres more to the waterfall. Take your swimmers and a bit of bottle.
