We did a 1/2 day tour in a 4x4 vehicle and it was a fantastic experience. The views of the mountains are absolutely breathtaking. Our driver Frank was great. He took us to several stunning viewpoints and shared information about the local wildlife. We drove...More

Wow! The most amazing views - you actually don't want to be on this road if it's snowing - it's tough terrain, a number of rivers/wet spots you're driving through. You need a passport to get right to the top. Boarder control is a just...More

Awesome trip up Sani Pass, we were in two 4x4, Toyota and Mitsubishi - both handled some snow and a few patches of ice with ease. The views are spectacular and there were so many waterfalls in the mountains - photographers paradise. I would recommend...More

Don't use 4x2, try to get a 4x4. Would only take a trailer if you are very experienced with one on rough ground. Should be dry in June I think but beware the pass is treacherous in the wet.
Hi, is it possible to do Sani Pass in a Landrover Freelander II (softroader) during the next week i.e. 3rd April 2017 ?
