Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

Nice spot to visit - lots of model trains to see - our kids really enjoyed them. Other train historical pieces as well that were interesting. excellent bathrooms. great price for an hour of inside relaxation.

We visited the park and the club/museum. We watched the train set ups and talked to the knowledgeable volunteers. The park was impressive with a huge locomotive. The cars have been inhabited by birds and need some clean up.

We went here after going to the Route 66 Museum as it is right down the street a couple blocks from that place it is worth the stop, however try going early, parking in their lot is limited.

The train station is full of Santa Fe RR history items. It was $2 per person. The miniature train setups were all constantly running.

On our way Seligman, we had decided to stop off in Kingman to explore the town a bit more. We noticed that they had a railroad museum. The place is located near the Powerhouse Museum. The Museum itself is nice and offers locomotives history and memorabilia. The staff themselves were friendly and answered some of our questions. The museum has a second room with a miniature trains and it's quite fun to watch. We had a nice experience and I'll be honest, I'm not big on train but it was still interesting to see some of the older train parts and read about the history of trains in Kingman

Have large windows that you can watch the real trains go by or go outside to see them. Lots of "mini" trains going around the museum.....

The museum is closed but Kingman is a great place to see trains. They come through very regularly. No indication of when the museum will reopen.

Very good little museum. Enjoyed seeing all of the displays they have. The highlight is the running electric train displays. They have two areas set up with multiple trains in each. Pictures don't do it justice so I have some video of the trains. It sure looks like they will run into each other but the display is very cleverly designed.
Although the visit can be short, I think it is a "must see".

A nice stop for the history of Kingman and the railroad. Volunteers are super friendly and knowledgeable. Great model trains and interactive displays- worth the $2 admission!
