Pleasantly surprised

I love the park, still a little bit room for improvement but in general very good, can almost compare to the company gardens in Cape Town.

Outside and around the corner from The Park Lodge, is the old but still elegant Burgers Park with its ever green slush laws and breath-taking flower beds, trees and park benches. This “mini botanical garden” serves as an out-door “lovers paradise.”

Very well maintained park. this was my first time in PTA and my hubby took me there to relax with a burger at "BURGERS PARK". after a long days walk with heels. This made up for my sore feet. Cause I was really upset to myself for not wearing flat shoes. This fits for a day out with a picnic... More

I came across this park completely by chance after a walk round the city centre and on my way back to the Gautrain station. Quite a large park and for one that is publicly maintained I was very impressed with it. There are some nice palm trees, a lovely thatched roundhouse, a now closed bandstand but still in quite good... More

A great palce to relax and have a picnic, you will meet different kinds of people and animals.I hate the burgers and people who come to preach while you are trying to relax,i also hate those couples that wants to do things you need a room for in the park.I also hate the irrigation system ,it does not have timing since... We were driving in the cahotich trafic of pretoria when we decided just to leave the car and take a break, this park just crossed up in our way, but it was a very nice surpise, very clean and calm, full of flowers, like if we were just in other city, great experience but 20 min is ok.

A great hotel. They serve the most delicious food. The staff is friendly and helpful at all the times. There are available computers and free internet near the reception area. The only challenge is the location. You cannot go out for a walk in the evenings, there are random homeless people always near the hotel.

This is without any shadow of a doubt the best park in Pretoria. The park is constantly maintained, and there's security guards patrolling at all times. Highly recommended.

.It is actually a nice well kempt park, somewhere to relax away from the noise of the city. It is spoiled somewhat by the overflowing bins and litter strewn everywhere. It has a small café, bandstand and statue commemorating the South African Scottish who died in the Great War. Nice place if you are passing but not worth a special... More
