This a very impressive architectural structure depicting South African history. There's a small conservation fee payable at the gate, but well worth a visit

My Wife and I visited the monument and found it very informative and the view from the top is very good looking out over Pretoria. Just bear in mind you pay as soon as you enter at the barrier not at the monument.

The majestic granite structure is awe inspiring up close with wonderful architecture & intricate statues depicting history of the Voortrekker people on par with any European monument. Definitely a must see

The building is absolutely amazing. The sculptures are so huge it is unbelievable. And, of course the history surrounding this magnificent place is mind-blowing. It is a must see, at least once in every person's life.

One of the „must have seen“ places in Pretoria. The place is a little bit outside from the center of Pretoria but good reachable by car and of course tourist busses.

Every Afrikaans person should visit this place somewhere in their lifetime- it is very patriotic experience that you will not regret but the entry fee is a bit steep. It is well over R70 per person to visit.
