We loved the creativity of this market style offering. We bought some great African crafts and the food/coffee areas looked inviting. The stalls are literally set up in containers, unfortunately not all are occupied - would be great to see it take off further. Area...More

Went for lunch and a walkabout. Loved the No Name Nursery. Huge selection of succulent plants. 27Boxes have some nice shops. It is quiet.

We visited the Side Plate, diner. Great concept and producing traditional cape flats tastes. We will be back for their traditional koeksisters and Gatsby. The attention from the owner and staff was inviting and friendly. We will be back soon.

I enjoy shopping at 27Boxes as there is a wide variety of shops and stores to browse. The nice underground parking makes it a nice base to explore Melville.

I visited for coffee and a famous “cronut” from one of the shops. I was impressed with the structure, the combination of vendors, the well maintained restrooms and facilities. Would love to return. Ideal for inner city events/ coffee/ meals/ shopping.

This one is small and cute done. It gives possibilities for designers and I enjoyed what I saw. It is not the usual touristic things. The boxes are mainly rented to starting designers and there was enough to see for me. What I also liked...More

Spent some time and money here amongst some really cool pop up shops. Some longer term than others allegedly. There was a fashion show taking place during our visit that gave a party atmosphere. Cool place.
