Don't miss this place - perfect way to experience global and South African playwrights. The theatre we saw a show in only had maybe 100 or 150 seats. Tickets are cheapest on Tuesdays and wednesdays, available online. Lots of restaurant options in the area.

We recently went to the Market Theatre as back up singers for the 6th Word N Sound Poetry/Festival. The set up is good and the sound is perfect, its a nice Theatre to be and easily accessible in the City of Johannesburg in Park Town.
