Chaotic management, staff members talking loudly. Moved me from treatment room to mixed public area for my mani/pedi. Appointments were late and they couldn't find the bookings. Pool is too small to swim and steam room is very small.Wouldn't recommend it. Not really a spa at all.

We visited the Camelot Spa at the Intercontinental Johannesburg Airport hotel during a stayover. Massages were exactly what we needed after spending several days in the bush and before we got on an 8 hour flight to our next destination. The spa is quite small but welcoming. We were warmly greeted and directed to the changing rooms that included showers... More

My wife & I went for treat. I chose the manicure & pedicure, but this was not as pleasant as anticipated. My nails were not shining, my cuticles on my right hand were cut too deep - it was painful for days. No support for my back, and feet were still hard.

What I booked was a 90 minute Signature Massage which includes the Indian Head Massage. What I received was a 60 minute massage without an Indian Head Massage. I had the same experience (and therapist) last year. It's a bit odd that she leaves out one of the fundamental elements of this massage. The spa is very clean and, while... More

After over a week out in the bush with no showers or luxury, I decided to pamper myself before starting my 23 hour journey back to Los Angeles. What a fantastic idea! The spa is located within the Intercontinental Hotel, which is also connected directly to the International terminal at JHB, so you literally walk right to it. No taxis... More

I recently arrived back from an international trip and stayed the night at the Intercontinental Hotel at O R Thambo Airport. I decided to visit the Camelot Spa and have a full body massage. I actually do not know where to start but this was the worst massage I have ever had, one towel was used to cover parts of... More
