We visited this museum at the beginning of our Africa trip, and I’m so glad we did, because it really helped understand better everything else that we saw around us throughout our trip. GETTING THERE - we took the Gautrain from near our hotel to...More

Interesting, interactive, and very informative. I recommend staying 3-4 hours. Our time was rushed by our guide (independent tour guide, not the museum guide) and I really wished we could have stayed longer.

I knew of what happened but now I understand more of what happened. This place is a fascinating and thought provoking place to visit and a must see in my opinion.

Friends and I visited the Apartheid Museum. The building is stunning. It’s a must visit if your traveling through South Africa. It’s very well displayed and easy access for any age group. Great for locals and foreign tourists.

This historical museum allows you to see what happened when and where in south african history. Very educational and informative. Not really a place for kids as it has too much information.

There is a ton of information and you will need some time to make it through. The content is great. This is a must-do if you visit Johannesburg.
