This is a trendy suburb of northern Johannesburg that features a plethora of trendy restaurants and antique shops. Great for a restaurant experience and antiquing.

parktown has a lot to see from a Saturday afternoon Jol in constitutuion hill to sound competitions in the basement parking lot, easy acess to public transport and Reya Vaya busses

Parktown is a nice area in Johannesburg. It has a very lovely cafe scene. The main attraction here is the restaurants. Lovely

Great area for fantastic restaurants that will amaze any foodie. Some great stores to visit and get little trinkets from. A wonderful "street vibe" and fun atmosphere.

There is a mall in park town but it's kind of small but has its own unique stores and proves that dynamite comes in small packages park town is historic and jewel in South Africa it's worth a visit for yourself

Suggest you make contact with the Parktown Westcliff Heritage Trust, they often have walks through this area. And once the Westcliff Hotel re-opens in late 2014, finish the visit with lunch or dinner at this venue, overlooking Johannesburg, incredible view. Parktown, and the beginning of...More
