When we went there was no one else on the beach because it was quite windy, but we appreciated the enormous beach and seemingly endless view. Big sand dunes to explore if you like that sort of thing, and the view is great from up...More

A wild big beach with big heavy surf that rolls in from the Indian ocean onto South Africa's uncluttered, straight coastline. Big dunes, big sky,big waves and well worth going to.

No visit to Port Elizabeth is complete without spending some time at Sardinia Bay. The sand dunes are amazing and one the top is reached, the view in both directions is just wonderful.

The sand has been blown creating a huge sand dune covering most of the parking .. There's a hut cafe for limited drinks

Well worth travelling this road. Takes you to Sardinia Bay, Blue Horizon which is great and Seaview. Blue Horizon has one of the best beaches in Port Elizabeth. There are restaurants along the route - Barnacles, Dizzy Dolphin (pub), Grass Roof.

This beach is one of the most beautiful in PE. Be ready to get some exercise in - the sand dunes are no joke. Huge beach, pet friendly, family friendly, clean and the views are incredible. Sunsets are a must here.

A fantastic beach to visit; the dunes are beautiful and the beach is so clean. Another pro is that it wasn't overcrowded at all.
