We were worried the jump may not be able to go ahead thanks to low cloud and receiving a phone call on our way there to postpone. It all seemed a bit disorganised and we were frustrated trying to find out whether it would or...More
They state in their FAQ that you can use your own camera. But before the jump they tell you that you can only use it if you pay an additional 500 ZAR.
Additionally they charge an extra 5% for credit card payment. In three weeks...More
Amazing 1st time skydiving experience. The tranquil atmosphere at breakfast at the hotel in Knysna gradually gave way to excitement...or is it nerves during the 40 km to the Skydive Head Quarters in Plettenberg Bay. A few wrong turns (some signage from on the N2...More
We travelled from our accommodation at Laird's Lodge just down the road from Plett airport and checked into the jump HQ which turned out to be a couple of huts and a freight container at the side of the runway. Construction/improvements to the real estate...More
First time at Sky diving, and loved it! The guys are chilled out- I was expecting a long briefing but I think it lasted 3 mins! The weather was great and the views were absolutely stunning. The tandem instructor had done about 15k dives so...More
We almost didn’t book this because we were concerned about the reviews regarding service and communication but are so glad we went ahead. We assume management has changed since the bad reviews were posted because the guys were brilliant with us on both fronts. They...More
Skydiving is definitely a once in a life time experience and Skydive Plett is a great place to experience it and cheaper than the closest other place at Mossell Bay. They are a somewhat small operation and I have seen other people complain that they...More

We were only able to finally Skydive in SA on our recent holiday after 5 cancellations. The weather was variable - if winds are consistently 20kph you need to prepare to be disappointed! We tried SkyDive Capetown who kept us informed and get very good reviews, but the winds were against us. They did not require payment in advance. We then booked Skydive Plett for when we were in Plettenberg the following week. The booking was online with payment by card in advance via a central booking facility. I also contacted Bruce directly on his mobile to explain it was a charity jump and we were very flexible! He kept us informed by text and, happily, we were ok to jump on our final morning in perfect conditions - clear skies and light winds. Good Luck -it is an amazing thing to do and we found Skydive Plett was excellent, the views are sensational and our tandem partners were very understanding, experienced and professional.
