We only walked the first loop for about 45 minutes. The views are very nice. The path leading back was partially quite steep, but the rocks at the side of the path helped to assist walking with the hands.

To make a long story, short. If you have between 2-5h to spare and you are in Plettenberg bay, there is just nothing better to do. Take enough water with you, and if you do the full hike, some snacks, and enjoy

The walk is very nice, a little challenging especially if you do the complete round for which you better be in very good shape !

We were there when it was cold and with a light drizzle, but that made the hike quite unique. The waves were high and the seals were playful and jumped from wave to wave. Because it was early and cold, we were almost the only...More

The Roberg hike is not difficult at all, you would make it. I met two kids that were below 10 years who were having fun time walking Roberg

Recommended that you don't start long walk after 14.00 but this would not be critical in summer, and at low tide. Long walk is estimated at 31/2 - 4 hours. But don't underestimate the walk - see recent comments.
