The views are lovely. Even then shortest path is a bit of a hike. Some of us who are older simply cannot make the rocking climbing required and the huge steps necessary to follow it. Be warned that unless you are fit or young or...More

We did a few walks/hikes in SA and this was our second favourite. We did the longest walk - it’s about 10km return and although challenging at times it’s not as bad as some say in the reviews. Stunning views, two amazing beaches and lots...More

Want to get active and enjoy the true beauty of the Bay? Then do not miss Robberg NR. Wear good walking shoes, take water and your camera. Truly beautiful nature walk. Some parts steep and rocky.

There are 2 walking options from the car park. A 5km and 10km. Both are relatively tough, with some steep climbs and narrow paths. However, the views are spectacular and worth the effort.

A must do in the area, if you are moderately fit and used to walking. Ignore cautions about the steeper bits, take your time and be rewarded with outstanding views.

Beautiful views, seals, dolphins and dassies. We loved it! Empty beach after a 3-4 hour walk. Sheer cliffs and caves. A must when you're in Plett!

It is an excellent walk! You reach virgin beaches! Well signed! Ideal for hicking! Takes about two hours! Take water with you!

Plan ahead - take water and wear good shoes. Be prepared for a bit of a hike - up and down - but well worth it.

We visited on a cloudy day - cost 40 rand per adult. If you wish to walk you need walking shoes/good trainers as very uneven ground. There are areas at the beginning where you can sit and enjoy the views/picnic. Not sure what it would...More

Wow, wow and wow. We visited on a blustery but sunny afternoon. We have been here several years ago and had braai with a group of friends. It was great fun then. There is a designated area with built in areas to braai. This time...More

The Roberg hike is not difficult at all, you would make it. I met two kids that were below 10 years who were having fun time walking Roberg

Recommended that you don't start long walk after 14.00 but this would not be critical in summer, and at low tide. Long walk is estimated at 31/2 - 4 hours. But don't underestimate the walk - see recent comments.
