The game drive per person was R440, and when I enquired in Port Alfred it was R135 per person. So I suggest Mpongo Park to have competitive prices. And this is depriving the young kids and young adults that must still explore and learn about...More

This venue offers touch-farm facilities, a great restaurant that overlooks an active hippo pool, game drives and close-up encounters with a variety of wild and not-so-wild animals, including lions and monstrous tortoises.

I have taken the self drive thrice. I have been lucky once to see a rhino and hippo. However that makes it fun unlike it being predictable as if its a zoo.

I had the opportunity to visit Mpongo Park for a daily excursion and was pleasantly surprised by the beauty of the park. Rivers flowing through with lots of game to view on the drive. If you love nature you will certainly enjoy Mpongo Park.
