Jerome is a historic copper mining town that has become a tourist attraction and has several wine tasting rooms located there. We tried Caduceus Cellars and enjoyed many of their wines. It is a small output winery and they rely on tourism in Jerome to bring in customers. The prices are a bit higher than I would like and the... More

Jerome is an old mining town in the mountains 2 hours north of Phoenix.Cool temperatures at altitude. Great overview of the Valleys to the north and the Utah Canyonlands. Unusual location for a vineyard of this calibre. Loved the Tempranillo 2013. Award winning wine from northern Arizona no less. Tasting room out of the Wild Wild West. Appetizer platter to... More

After watching the documentary "Blood into Wine," and realizing this was only a 5 hour drive from Las Vegas I was determined to make a fun day trip out of this adventure. The Drive there is great, because the town of Jerome is located on the top of a mountain and is one of the most vertical towns in the... More

As I usually do. I was well tended and they helped me ship my wine home. Bought the Shinola, but liked the name of the Chupacabra better. Shinola was more earthy and the other more fruity. Try them all if you can.

On our trip through the area we stopped at several wineries, this is one of our favorites. The staff was super knowledgeable and friendly. Loved the wines! Great stop.

The gal running the place kept her back to us while she had a personal phone call. I approached her and she would not turn around. I went over to look at some T shirts and she said "Don't pick those up. I don't want to have to refold fold them!. We promptly left, went across the street and ordered... More

We haven't visited Jerome in many years and found that the town had changed positively in many ways. One of the most visible changes is the opening of many wine tasting rooms. We decided to try tasting some AZ wines and visited Caduceus Cellars. Very nice tasting room with reasonably priced tasting options. Very pleasant and knowledgeable staff. We had... More

I'm only a chardonnay drinker so I didn't find anything here that I liked. My husband is a red drinker. He found a wine he liked called Shinola. (No sh.t) Hauled it home in the luggage.
