Grand Canyon Resort Corporation is owned by the Hualapai Indian Tribe and is located in Peach Springs, Arizona. In 1988, the Hualapai Indian Tribe, which has occupied the land since 1883, established GCRC, welcoming millions of visitors each year to tour the area, including the nearby lodge, ranch, River Runners and Grand Canyon West. To further increase tourism in the area, the Grand Canyon Skywalk was built in 2007. The Skywalk is a glass, horseshoe-shaped bridge that enables visitors to walk beyond the canyon walls at Grand Canyon West, suspending them 4,000 feet above the riverbed and providing an unparalleled view of this natural wonder.

You won't see much of the canyon since you can only enter using their shuttle buses that only take you to two spots - one of which (the Skywalk) basically only has a view of a side canyon. Want to watch the sunset? No, they don't allow you to stay that late. We were herded into the shuttle bus right... More

We're sorry to hear you were disappointed with your visit to Grand Canyon West which offers amazing views of the Grand Canyon, not only at Skywalk, but also at Guano Point and Eagle Point. Shuttle buses are used to because it's a more efficient way to handle the number of daily visitors to GCW. We appreciate you visiting Grand Canyon... More

In the beginning I was put off by the price of the tickets. $76 to go to 3 stops in the Canyon and the skywalk. But I was so amazed at the views and the friendliness of the staff. Included in your ticket is a meal. It is the best meal we have had on our vacation so far!

Grand Canyon West is a must see when visiting the state of Arizona. It is a short one hour drive from Las Vegas. Once you reach there, there will be a security guard that will direct you to the lot. The fee is a bit high, $70 per person. However, it is worth it. They take you on a bus... More

It's been almost 40 years since I saw the Grand Canyon and was reminded how breathtaking a sight it is, a true natural wonder of the world that everyone must see if in the area. A short 2 hour trip from Las Vegas is well worth it

It's hard to believe you went 40 years between visits to the Grand Canyon. We agree it's breathtaking and should be viewed by everyone at least once. Thanks for visiting. We're glad you enjoyed your return trip. More

This was our first time seeing the Grand Canyon. What s beautiful place a must see!!!! They have buses that take you around the Canyon. When we first got to our hotel see saw a moose walking around. It walked around our building and came back and come right up to our window and scared our daughter.

We're happy to hear you finally experienced the beauty of the Grand Canyon. No matter how many times you've seen it in pictures, there's nothing like seeing it in person the first time. We hope the moose you saw at your hotel didn't scare your daughter too much. More

Went on the tour and all I can really say is Spectacular! This is a great trip if you are in Las Vegas. About 2.5 hours northeast of the City. The drive there is pretty packed with sights and scenic views. Once at the west rim, the views are breath taking. Do this trip and you will not be disappointed.... More

We visited Grand Canyon West and it was beautiful with amazing views. We did have to pay per person. We arrived later and they took us to Guano only, so I believe we only paid $30 per person. Had I not read reviews on Trip Advisor, we would've had NO IDEA. The road literally ends and you are directed into... More

This "attraction" is a rip off and I do not recommend it. You have to pay about $25 to walk out. That wouldn't be so bad except you cannot take a camera. You have to rely on the photographers employed by Sky Walk. The pictures were very, very disappointing. Don't waste your time or money. Take your own pics on... More

We're sorry to hear you were disappointed with your time at Skywalk and in the quality of your pictures. We respectfully disagree with your opinion of Skywalk being a "rip off." Cameras are not allowed a safety precaution to prevent people from dropping things on the glass walkway over into the Grand Canyon. More
