Lots of "old" shops and very nice people.

If you love antiques, this is the place to go. Lots of old time shops. Ice cream parlors, old time hamburgers. Loved it

Glendale Glitters has been a holiday tradition since we moved to Arizona. The beautiful lights, the crafts, the children's performances, all has been a holiday experience. We always enjoyed the magnificent light displays and walking the historic area visiting all the shops and eating in one of the many great restaurants. This year the experience was ruined by all the... More

Having lived in the area for 60+ years, sometimes I feel we take for granted the things of note right in our backyard. However, it is never so during the season between Thanksgiving and New Year's when a drive through the Glendale Historic District and Caitlin Court. We never miss it...It's beyond wondrous to drive down Glendale Ave., east of... More

OK, now everything depends on your expectations. It is a nice preserved old city center, as you can see in a lot of places in USA and Canada, like Colorado Springs and some cities in California or many other places. It has its own charm and there are things that are making it different from others. Some of it is... More

Thought the area would be more specialty shops, but was really just antiques and used stuff. Some low end art stuff. Not what I was expecting. We caught an Uber there, walked around for 20 min went in to 2 shops and left.

When in Glendale, AZ you must visit the historic district by the municipal complex. Lots of interesting things to see. If you are there during the fall holidays, be sure and visit their colorful holiday display.

A great throwback to earlier times in Glendale. Do it on foot to see things you may miss otherwise. Fall is the best time to experience this little known district

This is a quaint small town feeling area in a big town. There are plenty of antique shops, boutique's and nice little cafe's or if your looking for cookies and tea look for a place called Coyote Oatie 7005 N 58th Ave. I am fortunate to live in Glendale and enjoy the year round events held in the park here.... There are special venues here throughout the year. Cerreta's chocolates and Haus Murphys are my personal food stops! Haven't eaten in the Spicery for a few years....need to revisit that. Please don't force your guys to eat here unless you're confident they won't knock anything over and know how to balance a napkin on their lap😄 It is a tea... More
