Rather small but worth a visit. The place to see historical facts about three Cottonwood area. Love trains, then a must see. Great working display of when copper was king.

This is a great history museum with most stuff donated by local residents. My wife's family worked there and donated lots of stuff. The train room is not to be missed. It shows all the trains going through the entire area when the copper was...More

Great little museum. A hidden treasure. Old friend used to be guide here and first time I went I was knocked over by the history; hidden and obvious. It's about trains, mines, labor, hardships and treasures. You will see things you can relate to present...More

This small museum has fantastic displays of life in the local area many years ago. There is an old classroom that transported me right back to the 1960's and an amazing model train room.

More than we bargained for, there`s much more than the rail road exhibit. Many displays and lots of history. The volunteers were a wealth of information. A must if you are in the area, big surprise.

Very enjoyable area museum with very friendly and informative volunteers. They ran the trains for us and told us the story of the area. Will be sure to go there again.

Oh my gosh, what a find. Who would've thought you would find such an interesting museum in what seems to be almost the middle of nowhere. Occupying a former school building, this place is a wealth of information on what is now the old abandoned...More
