Stayed in Cottonwood for a few nights and hoped old Cottonwood would be fun to look around. There really is very little here except a few over priced stores. Felt like it could have been a good place once now feels a big 'forgotten'.

I love going to Old Town Cottonwood...what a great variety of locally owned restaurants and shops. A great place to go, whether you are a local or a tourist...but definitely doesn't feel "touristy" (cookie-cutter offerings).

We weren’t planning on stopping here on our way to Jerome , but were glad we did. Lovely shops and friendly people abound.

It was very crowded and almost impossible to park the car. However, there were many interesting little shops and lots of cafes and restaurants.

This short Main Street had mostly updated facades. It was fun to explore the variety of stores. Many wine sampling store fronts and a variety of hotels. We turned a corner at the old Town Red Rooster to walk to the 3 Kings Kaspar restaurant...More

Cottonwood was not originally on our itinerary but a recommendation from a Tucson couple at breakfast on our first day had us adding it to our stops. We had a leisurely drive from Sedona one afternoon, looked around the downtown area and found a decent...More

Typical tourist destination for shopping, small restaurants and bars. You can walk the Main Street in a smaller western town.

Cottonwood is the perfect central location so you can visit Sedona, Jerome, and all the other areas. Sedona is very expensive and can be VERY crowded. Driving around can be a nightmare and take forever. So in my opinion... More
