Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

Nice folks with good information. Be sure to see Bob next door in the free museum, he’s a great guy and knows a lot of the local history. Very interesting. Worth the stop.

I know the new Visitort's Center is 3-4 years old, now, but Tuesday was the first opportunity I've had, to go inside. I can't remember the name of the attendant, but she was very professional and helpful. In-fact, she gave me some other historical locations, to check out, while I was there. I don't know, who was responsible for the inside renovation, but it's absolutely, beautiful. If you're looking for something to do, while you're in Arizona, and not just in BCC, there are so many publications and pamphlets, that it'll almost overwhelm you. I've been coming up to BCC, for almost 34 years, and I always discover a new area. Heritage Park is a great place to check out, while you're there. It looks like they're improving this place, all the time. Bring your family, and have a picnic, near the pond. You'll never know, who or what you'll meet.

The Visitor Center was a memorable stop, for we met a lady, I shall call Clara Barton, for she was a surgical Nurse (as was I) ~ we exchanged much information on her travels and originally Clara was from the great state of Kansas~ for we had much in common. .
Clara was very knowledgeable on history, cross country traveling and connected with people ~ Clara was witty and we set and talked for a hour. . . .we laughed about many issues: life, *(the way it was) politics, places to visit, and our careers.
KEEP IN MIND; This is a Visiters Center, where one goes to get information on Places to visit, Trails to walk, and connecting with the environment...

Heading to Sedona from Phoenix, my husband and I stopped in this quiet little town for a cold drink. We were lucky the local market was across from this Visitor's Center because we didn't know much about the area. The place was small but there were some interesting exhibits about the local plants and animals in this dry landscape, history of the area with plenty of brochures to describe places to see and things to do. The Ranger was really friendly and gave us some great ideas for our drive. We ended up taking a small detour so we could have lunch in the historic town of Jerome. This Visitor Center was worth stopping at!

I’ve never been to a visitor center where the staff really listen to you and are tuned into your interests so they can quickly provide literature, maps and recommendations truly tailored to you. This visitor center and its staff are truly incredible in their knowledge of the area and in their ability to produce exactly the right information to help you decide what to see and do. It’s also the visitor center for the remote Agua Fria National Monument and a stamp is available for your Natl Parks Passport book here. We were totally impressed with the incredible staff and highly recommend stopping here for information on the region. A+ to this great vistor center, the best I’ve ever been to.

We were heading north from Phoenix towards Williams and saw a the sign for tourist information in the hope they would have a bathroom!
Well they did have one, a very welcoming lady greeted me and directed me to the bathroom. Afterwards she talked me through what to see in the area. I explained our plans and she suggested that on our route back to Phoenix we should use highway 89 and drive through the Coconina national forest and see Sedona. She suggested various stop off points along the route and she marked them all on the map and explained how we would get back to interstate 17.
She also gave me a useful guide book. We are so pleased we called not this information center we did her route from flagstaff through to Sedona and back on to Interstate 17 it was amazing we stopped at the points of interest she suggested and saw some beautiful scenery and took many photographs. I do not know the lady's name but would like to thank her and highly recommend this little tourist office to anyone needing information. Absolutely brilliant

No plans for seeing Black Canyon. I actually was looking for a car wash to get the Flagstaff winter crime off my car. When I asked about a car wash I was told not out here in the desert. Brackesh water is too expensive to recirculate and filter for reuse, which is required of businesses in drought prone locations in Arizona. So, no car wash here. But the lady doing needle point in the visitors center was most helpful and informative. Pleaasnt stop and she steered us to Nora Jeans Koffee Kitchen for lunch across the street. What a good recommendation!

We are driving from Kingman AZ to Sedona. My husband wants to get his photo with a Saguero cactus. If we took Route 89 from Ash Fork and 17 to Black Canyon City, is there anywhere we could just pull over and get a photo with a Saguero?
